Cem Soysal has 24 years of extensive experience in the information technologies and telecommunication sectors, including 17 years in senior management. Before Inventram, he worked for Fujitsu-Siemens Computers Turkey as Country Manager, Doğan Holding Doğan Online Companies as Group President and Technology Holding as Group President. Between 1997 and 2002 while working for Zorlu Holding, he took part in the foundation process and became the General Manager of the second largest private internet service provider, Vestelnet Online Communications Inc. He completed his Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering at İstanbul Technical University, received a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science at Pace University in New York, USA, and a Graduate level Marketing Management Program at Columbia University in New York, USA. Cem Soysal is a Licensed Business Angel, granted by Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry, Undersecretariat of Treasury.
Kerem Uygurmen started his 21 years long career in finance in 1996 at Koçbank Inc., as a financial analyst. He worked for Koç Investment Co. and Yapı Kredi Investment between 1998 and 2008 as a transactional expert and manager and at Koç Financial Services as business development manager on deal evaluation, feasibility and due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, public offerings, block sales, and other activities relevant to capital markets. Mr. Uygurmen joined the YKB Corporate Banking team in 2009, and has been working as the senior manager responsible for Investment and Financial Affairs for Inventram since 2010. He completed his undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University and earned a Master's degree in Business Management at West Georgia University. Besides being a Patent Attorney, he also received a certificate on corporate financial loans from London School of Economics and has an Advanced Level License on Capital Market Activities.
Yalın Geçer has 14 years of experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, business development, investments and finance. After graduating from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 1999, he earned his MBA degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2001 with concentration in Banking & Finance and E-Business. Between years 2003 and 2009, he worked at the finance department of Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. assuming different positions. Later he worked in the fields of Business Development and Sales at the telecommunications industry. From time to time he acted as an entrepreneur too and in his latest post, he had worked as Business Development and Investments Manager at Alesta Venture Capital Trust. During his tenure he assessed many technology based startups while managing investments. He also holds Level 3 License on Capital Market Activities and since October 2015, he has been working as Business Development and Project Manager for İnventram.
After completing her middle school and high school education at Saint Benoit French High School, Gülbin Çalışan continued her higher education at Koç University at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and graduated from the Department of Business Administration in 2010. Being a Trademark and Patent Attorney, Ms. Çalışan works for İnventram as Business Development Manager in charge of marketing and investment processes.
Mrs. Şimşekli is graduated from the Department of Economics at Koç University in 2012 and works for İnventram as Finance Specialist.
Upon graduating from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) as the top student of the department, Mr. Elçi completed a doctoral program at Columbia University and NASA/Langley on robotics and Iterative Learning Control Systems. He received his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Texas Austin University before returning to Turkey in 1996. He worked for Monitor Group, USA, in Boston as a Management Consultant, and for a mid-sized bank as Deputy General Manager. Mr. Elçi also served as a Senior Manager and Managing Partner for local and international firms operating in fields of investment banking, venture capital, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, project financing, and privatization. Mr. Elçi’s current interests are focused on the following four fields: managing USA and Turkey finance markets-oriented private funds; offering consultancy services on investment in developing sectors; contributing to the development of internet and technology entrepreneurship in Turkey; and academic studies at Columbia University.
